On Country Excursion

Travel to the Bunya Mountains for an On Country experience. This amazing experience will include a:

  • Welcome to Country
  • Visit to the Bush Uni
  • Rainforest Walk with the Bunya Peoples' Aboriginal Corporation (BPAC) Rangers

On this excursion, you'll have the opportunity to yarn and reflect on Connection to Country, and what this means in your personal, study and professional lives.

As a First Nations student, you are eligible for a full subsidy on your attendance costs for the On Country Excursion. Your subsidy has been applied to your ticket cost, which should show as $0.00 due.

Limited service acknowledgement

I acknowledge that phone service is very limited in the Bunya Mountains, and I may not be able to send or receive texts or calls at times on the excursion.

Physical requirement and medical consent acknowledgement

I acknowledge that I will be required to complete a consent and medical advice form prior to participating in this excursion. I also acknowledge that this excursion involves a 2km walk, and that sections may be muddy or have a loose surface on a moderate slope.

Travel acknowledgement

I acknowledge that I will be travelling by bus during this excursion.

Photographic consent

I consent to being included in photos or videos taken on the excursion.
