Terms
I give permission to the University of Southern Queensland (“UniSQ”) to:
A. take photographs, vision, video and/or audio of me (“the material”) to: archive works, make copies of works, sell the same, and publish the work in any form, in whole or in part, and distribute by any medium including, but not limited to, print media, internet (including social media), other multi-media uses or graphic representation, vision or audio; and
B. use the material with or without my name, regardless of whether that use might otherwise infringe any Moral Rights I may have in the content, for:
i. the production of resources/programs, promotion of UniSQ courses, services and activities;
ii. general display, or for any other purposes including to assist UniSQ with further education and promotional requirements; and
iii. any commercial or non-commercial distribution of the resulting education or promotional products/resources.
I understand and agree that:
A. I own the intellectual property rights of sound, music and images created by me and this Form is not meant to transfer my ownership or copyright.
B. The material may be made available by UniSQ through publicly accessible sites and that the content may be downloaded by persons accessing such sites.
C. No fee or payment will be provided to me for giving this consent and I acknowledge that I am not entitled, nor shall in the future be entitled to receive any payment or consideration in respect of it and agree to make no claim against UniSQ for any payments for the use of the material.
D. I release and indemnify UniSQ from any loss (including consequential), damage, costs or liability arising out of UniSQ’s use of the material.
E. By marking yes, I waive any right that I may have to review or approve the material prior to it being used or reproduced.
F. Should I pass away, subject to the above cultural considerations I agree that UniSQ is entitled to continue to use the material and the above terms will still apply unless consent is withdrawn following the process described above by another person including the executor of my Estate or my next of kin.
G. If I choose to withdraw my consent (which I can do at any time in writing to UniSQ), UniSQ will not be permitted to use the material for any of the above purposes in the future. Otherwise, my consent will continue indefinitely.
